Could Salvation really be by
Faith Alone ?
Quote from the book: Knowledge That Leads to Everlasting Life (page 69 top)
- All scripture quoted is from New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (1961)
Jehovah"As long as we exercise faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ
Jehovahand live in harmony with divine requirements,
Jehovahwe will be clean in God's sight and will have hope of everlasting life."

|| Is it possible we could be justified by faith alone or
must we also live in harmony with divine requirements to be clean in God's sight?
Well, you study the scriptures and judge for yourself.
"God set him forth as an offering
Jesus Christ is Lord for propitiation
Jesus Christ is Lord of allthrough faith in his blood." (Romans 3:25)
(Romans 4: 5) says,
"The man that does not work
Jesus Christ but puts faith in him who declares the ungodly one righteous his faith is counted as righteousness."
"...by works of the law no flesh will be declared righteous before him, .... "
The thought that we must - "live in harmony with divine requirements"
as something necessary to be seen clean by God,
is adding works to the undeserved kindness of God.
"...if it is by undeserved kindness, it is no longer due to works; The truth, The way
otherwise, the undeserved kindness The light, Jehovah
Jehovahno longer proves to be undeserved kindness." (Romans 11:6)
The law was not given to make man clean before God, but the law was given that man might recognize his sin
and in despair turn to God and ask for forgiveness.
The next part of the Romans 3: 20 verse says it best
....for by the law is the accurate knowledge of sin.
The law was not given to make us righteous, but to show us our unrighteousness.
Jehovah's Living in harmony with divine requirements
can only mean to obey the law God has laid down in scripture.
Jehovah God"Knowing as we do that a man is declared righteous not due to works of the law
but only through faith toward Christ Jesus."
(Galatians 2: 16)
We know that living in harmony with divine requirements
is not a requirement for righteousness before God,
Jehovah Godit is only the fruit or proof
that one has accepted Christ's blood as the propitiation for their sins.
"If righteousness is through the law, Christ actually died for nothing." (Galatians 2: 21)
(Acts 15: 10,11)by imposing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke
"...why are you making a test of God
that neither our forefathers nor we were capable of bearing?
On the contrary we trust to get saved through the undeserved kindness of the Lord Jesus..."
One's hope of everlasting life cannot be in faith plus works.
One's hope of everlasting life must be in faith alone.
Faith which is not in Christ alone, is faith in one's own righteousness.
The fruit a tree bears does not foretell what the tree will become,
but proves what species the tree really is.
