I think He's coming soon;
He promised, when He went away,
That he would come again some day;
"Others have looked in vain," they say.
Yes, but I think He's coming soon.

He must be coming soon:
The Word of God has told us when
To look for Him to come again;
The prophecies are true and plain,
So then, He must be coming soon.

I hope He's coming soon:
The darkest night will turn to day,
All sin and sorrows pass away;
And that is why I gladly say
To you, "I hope He's coming soon."

Since He is coming soon,
We should be ready, clean, and white,
Working for Him with all our might,
And looking for Him day and night:
Are you? For He is coming soon.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:3

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
