My Savior And Shepherd

The Lord is my Shepherd, so kind and true;
He feedeth me daily from pastures new.
He leadeth me gently by waters still,
So trusting my Saviour, I fear no ill.

Forgiveness and cleansing are ever mine;
And full consecration in Him I find.
The valley of shadows I will not flee;
No evil I fear for "Thou art with me."

His mercy and goodness do follow me
All the days of my life, eternally;
A sheep in His pasture, I'm safely led;
A lamb in His fold, abundantly fed.

As Saviour and Keeper He never fails;
As constant companion, His love prevails.
Because of His mercy I give Him all;
Because of His justice, before Him fall.

"I am the good Shepherd: the good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep." John 10:11

"Now the God of Peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant make you perfect in every good work, to do His will." Hebrews 13:20

ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away." 1 Peter 5:4
