Many times I feel discouraged,
     But I hear the gentle call,

Many times He's heard me praying;
     Answered prayers I now recall.

Many times I think of martyrs,
     Those who'd suffer, bleed, and fall,
Such as James, and John, and Peter –

Many times I dream of Heaven,
     Pearly gates and jasper walls;
By His grace, through faith, I'll go there –
     Jesus is my all in all.

Many time I think of Jesus,
     Him who saved me from the fall;
And I wonder if I love him –
     Yes, I love Him best of all.
