Safety Amid Worries

     
"They that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing."
              Psalm 34:10

'Tis not the sea about the ship
That sinks the ship, my friend;
'Tis when the sea gets into the ship
And sends it to its end.

'Tis not the worries around your soul,
That sinks your soul in night.
'Tis when those worries surge within
And wrench your faith with fright.

Hide in the friendship of your God,
There you may safe abide.
Nor fear, nor doubt can wreck that ark
Through all life's time and tide.
