      I LOVE THE LORD

"I love the Lord, because

he hath heard my voice and my supplication."Jesus is Lord
                              Psalm 116:1
     That was David's testimony. Wasn't that a wonderful testimony to have? Saul couldn't say that. He could have truthfully said, "I love myself."
   Demas could have said, "I love the world."
   The testimony of Judas would have been, "I love the money."
   Ahab and Jezebel could have said from the depths of their hearts, "We love sin and iniquity."
   Can you truthfully say from your heart that you love the Lord? Our Lord deserves every bit of the love that we could possibly bestow upon Him. Let us give it to Him Who is worthy. If we really love Him we will trust Him, serve Him, witness for Him, and be willing to suffer for His sake. May the Lord help us to love Him Who "gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works" (Titus 2:14).
